Chris Weidman is in line to take on the reigning Ultimate Fighting Championship or the UFC Middleweight champion Anderson Silva for a shot at the title at UFC 162 and in his preparation for that match, he is trying to enlist Uriah Hall, who broke through in the 17^th season of The Ultimate Fighter as his sparring partner. It is extremely difficult to find someone who would come even close to emulating the greatest Mixed Martial Artist of his generation but the American had to start off somewhere.

And it is now almost certain that he will started off against someone who packs quite a punch and whose reach is longer than that of the Brazilian as well. According to Weidman, he thinks Hall would be perfect as his sparring partner and added that he has some really great tricks up his sleeve, something which he is quite aware of, having fought him once before.

Weidman and Hall took each other on back in September 2010 at Ring of Combat 31 where the American Weidman went on to record a technical knockout win in the first round. Since then, Hall continued his development in the promotion and went up the ladder where as Weidman was offered a lucrative contract by the UFC and he has now landed himself a shot at the coveted UFC Middleweight Championship.

As for Hall, he was invited to be a part of the 17^th season of The Ultimate Fighter and during his stint in the show, he has already drawn comparisons with the legendary Anderson Silva after winning a couple of matches in brutal fashion. And if he manages to help Weidman defeat the legend in flesh, Hall’s career might just take a turn to the troposphere in absolutely no time at all as well.
